I love Malbec, though my greatest winemaking joys are found in the exploration of unique varietals and blends here in the Uco Valley Terroir. In addition to signature Malbec and Cabernet Franc, we grow Carignan, Grenache, Mouvedre, Pinot Noir, Teroldego and even Zinfandel (perhaps the only one in Argentina!).
Rose
This rose made from Pinot Noir grapes is perfect for an afternoon in the pool with the dog -- with hints of strawberry and sour cherry, along with bright acidity, freshness and a long finish.

Pinot Noir
This high-desert Pinot Noir is a wonderful surprise. Elegant and ruby-red, it has a complex and intense bouquet and its palate combines dark berries and cherry with French-style oaky hints. These dark fruit and sweet oaky notes also mark its long and extremely balanced finish. An intriguing and memorable Pinot Noir from Los Chacayes in the Uco Valley.

Zinfandel
Maybe the only Zinfandel produced in Argentina - and boy are people missing out! Growing these thin-skinned grapes proves a challenge, so we are only able to produce this wine about in certain. But when forces align and we get a successful harvest, the results are outstanding! Aged in second use oak for 16 months.

Carignan
A trip to Priorat, Spain inspired me to plant this grape—and I am so glad I did! This Carignan offers plenty of body and a deep ruby-red color. It has an elegant nose with notes of dried cranberries, raspberries, tobacco, and a hint of spices. The wine is dry, with firm tannins, nice acidity, and a lingering finish.

Cabernet Franc
There is something about the rocky soil here in Los Chacayes that makes Cabernet Franc sing! Deep and rich with great acidic balance. Powerful and elegant at the same time.

Teroldego
Traditionally grown in northeastern Italy, Teroldego is a big, juicy wine that flourishes in our Mendoza soil. So big in fact that I bottle it in 500ml bottles! Deep red with blackish highlights, it offers intense fruit fragrances like blackberries and raspberries, along with earthy notes of truffles and leather. Despite its powerful presence, its smoothness and concentration are splendidly balanced, giving a long, elegant finish.

A complex range of flavors evokes balsamic fragrances that lead to an excellent long finish.
